Job Description

Strategy development

  • Generate shopper insights across channels and develop shopper marketing strategies to drive off-take in-store via shopper activation, shopper promotion, in-store communication;

  • Develop action plans and initiatives based on these strategies

  • Contribute and develop POSM strategy for launch/re-launch/nation-wide consumer promotion by supporting Trade Category team with shopper insights

  • Contribute to action plan of MT channel by supporting MT Sales team with MT shoppers’ insights & POP implementation

  • Recommend clear promotional guidelines based on shopper understanding and current market knowledge.

Execution and operation

  • Deploy and execute shopper activation action plans for across categories and channels

  • Develop and execute in-store communication activation for thematic customer events (such as Horeca program, Anniversary, Birthday, New Store Opening, etc.)

  • Develop sell-in stories and joint-selling meeting for thematic customer events/activities/launch/ re-launch.

  • Ensure no channel conflicts based on promotion guidelines

  • Drive 2nd sales force effectiveness (N/A, Mobil N/A, Merchandiser) in GT channel to drive off-take in stores

Alignment and coordination

  • Recommend winning commercial propositions for the category; effectively communicate these to appropriate related departments.

  • Monitor competitor activities, trends in display solutions and communicate impact or opportunities to CDSM and CM teams.

  • Deploy monthly/quarterly activity plans of launch, re-launch, promotion, etc.

  • Be responsible for budget management of Shopper Activation activities

  • Act as an internal auditor

  • Other tasks assigned by Trade Marketing Manager

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree of Economy, Marketing or Business Administration

  • 5 years above sales and marketing experiences in multinational FMCG company

  •  years minimum with team management experiences

  • Good command of both spoken and written English.

  • Strong sales management and marketing skills

  • Effective interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of staff and management

  • Good at territory management

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet and exceed deadlines

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment

  • Ability to use office software application
