Job Description

Our client is one of the leading and well known Sporting Apparel MNC


  • The Area Sales Manager will drive top line sales growth and identify opportunities in the Area.

  • The main objective is to set up Go To Market process and drive the Area towards common Brand initiatives.

  • Key responsibilities will also be to define Area Sales budgets in cooperation with regional and Area GMs.

  • Also to determine sales force targets/objectives according to global/regional guidelines/KPIs, monitor performance and conduct evaluation.

  • In addition the role is also responsible for creating and inspiring a sales team.

Job Requirements

  • Degree + Min 5 years proven track record of sales management success experience and must be from Retail / FMCG Industry

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the local retail market

  • Keeps up to date with business trends and developments

  • Ability to set up Area sales plans

  • Strong leadership, organizational and decision making skills

  • Proven interpersonal, presentation and facilitation abilities to operate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Results oriented

  • Strong understanding of the P&L

  • Experience of developing strong relationships, communicating across a wide variety of networks

  • Effectively defines, plans, schedules, controls tasks and projects
