Job Description

  • To manage and to lead a team of PB Banca in promoting various type of Life Insurance offered by Tokio Marine Life Malaysia Insurance Bhd under exclusive Bancassurance Partnership, including Whole Life Plan, Endowment Plan, Medical Plan and Investment Linked Plan to the Banks customer base.
  • To coach and to handhold the PB Banca in regards to selling of life insurance.
  • To lead the team of PB Banca in promoting Tokio Marine Life Malaysia Insurance Bhds products to Banks customer.
  • To ensure the fulfillment and achievement of assigned target by the Bank in selling of Life Insurance.
  • To coach and handhold the team of PB Banca in performing needs base selling in understanding customers financial goals and to propose suitable product in fulfilling needs in life protection, saving, education, medical and retirement.
  • To provide training and necessary coaching to team member in preparation of quotations, explanation of product disclosure and to customers and closing sales.
  • To consistently seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking to find new customers or new business opportunity for team member to perform selling.
  • Ensure completeness of documents being submitted by team member and customer due diligence being complied.
  • Ensure that policy requirements by team member are fulfilled, including any necessary medical examinations and the completion of appropriate forms
  • To perform handholding or jointsales with team member in selling of life insurance or review of life insurance policy.
  • Adherence to the set Banks guidelines, Bancassurance policies procedures and comply with relevant Act(s). Assist in carry out duty as assigned by the Bank in customer service and relevant areas.
  • Comply with Continues Professional Development guidelines.
  • Continues learning by attending meetings, seminars and programs to learn about new products and services, learn new skills, and receive technical assistance in developing new accounts.

Job Requirements

  • Degree Holder with at least 3 years experience in banking product sales line.
  • Passed presales requirement examinations and licensed with the Tokio Marine Life Insurance Malaysia Bhd. Obtained relevant knowledge of the basic principles of Insurance, product knowledge and practices of Bancassurance procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diversified set up and in a highly collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to verify the accuracy of documents and information presented.
  • Initiative in organizing of sales activity and ability to execute action plan as confirmed.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills.
  • Positive attitude with willingness to learn
