Provide support in Safety Engineering, including Hazards Analyses and Risk Assessment facilitating services for the business units in compliance to company policies, company/industrial standards and procedures.
Lead/coordinate and participate in technical safety related aspects of studies, audits, initiatives and maintaining good information exchange within FE community.
Analyze and recommend solutions to management that result in a multi-discipline approach to general problems relating to safety engineering issues.
Work in the multi-discipline team environment of Client to support business unit objectives and goals.
Lead/coordinate and participate in technical safety related aspects of projects, studies, audits, initiatives and information exchange including support of Corporate initiatives.
Serve as Project Manager for assigned safety engineering projects or work packages or lead Corporate initiatives in advisor or champion roles on RM/PSM initiatives.
Mentor and coach a pool of National Safety Engineer in the team and act as advisor to Facility Engineers regarding safety engineering.
Vet and endorse new standard related to safety principle.
Provide technical evaluation of new safety-related standard or troubleshoots large or complex process facilities operations.
Direct safety, compliance and environmental reviews.
Maintain technical link with Clkient’s network.
Lead or participate in the negotiation of major contracts and in the review of contractor bids for safety related project.
Serve as technical authority or functional reviewer (safety), PSM or RM advisor role or lead any RM procedure.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years experience in Hazards Analyses and Risk Assessment facilitating services.
Familiar and up-to-date on all industry codes relating all safety systems and associated standard and practice, including SIL validation in order to support cross functional discipline works.
Ability to provide support on managing safe work through hands-on application/understanding operation/maintenance requirement.
Fluent and have previous experience work related to risk management process and process safety management system.
Must have practical experience by being part of team member or lead incident investigation level 2 or 3.
Must be able to lead and develop small national teams (3-4 members) in order to improve national competency.
Must be a coach for non-team members on safety requirement for asset engineers and FE community.
Ability to understand customer focus and anticipate opportunities.
Ability to influence decisions that impact on risk reduction for the company amongst peers and management.
Strong group facilitation and coordination skills.
Mobility to travel within short notice to support other profit centers or to field locations.
Experience as Project Manager/Liaison/Technical Consultant or Functional Team Leader on multi-disciplinary projects or MCP
Demonstrated experience with CSOC and CPDEP principles.
