This is a newly created position to oversee the retail sales and business in Hong Kong and carrying responsibility for achieving sales targets for all product categories.
Responsible for managing and executing the Company’s brand strategy in Hong Kong ensuring the achievement of brand objectives, brand representation, product segmentation, sales and gross margin across all business channels.
Develop and implement multi-year strategic plan targeting annual growth to meet Company’s long-term financial projections.
Identifies and recommends potential areas for brand marketing investment to drive brand awareness and sales.
Works to ensure the seasonal sell in packages are appropriate, complete and are communicated effectively, both internally and externally.
Oversee all operations to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Oversee the development of necessary policies and procedures for store operations, sales, marketing, customer service, etc.
Monitor the financial performance of the organization pertaining to store-related activities.
Develop and maintain Global uniformity in store design and concept.
Coordinate the development and expansion of a comprehensive advertising and marketing program for the stores.
Explore the opportunity of ecommerce and make recommendation in line with brand goals with the objective of increasing brand awareness and sales.
Maintain a working knowledge of best practices and significant developments and trends.
Liaises with the operations team to ensure accurate forecasting and buying to forecast, as per the critical path and oversees the logistics and inventory control.
Participates in the key global brand meetings, to include the seasonal finalization, launch meetings and Asia Pacific regional meetings.
Bachelor Degree or above in Marketing & Communications or equivalent
Minimum 8-year proven experience in Sales and Brand Management, preferably sports & lifestyle or retail, with Asia Pacific exposure in MNCs
Strong background in business operations, retail, store design, merchandising, team building, buying, planning, and getting results
Self-motivated, able to work independently, and willing to handle concurrent tasks
Experience in PR planning, co-ordination and execution with the Hong Kong market and/or major retail accounts
Ability to work with, supervise, and motivate employees with a wide range of skills and abilities
Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, organized and have excellent multi-tasking skills
Proficient in MS Office, social networks and familiarity with small network needs
Good working knowledge of labor relations polices and guidelines
Fluent of both spoken and written English and Mandarin (Putonghua)
