Job Description

Ensure timely delivery of project to maintain and build the business in line with the long range forecast and goals of the strategic plan. Ensure robust execution, financial & data management and, operational control & tracking of key projects to meet business targets:

  1. Establish key metrics on the status of project and communicate through appropriate PMO systems.

  2. Measure milestone achievement and other relevant metrics in areas such as resource, cost, and quality, to increase efficiency in the Vaccines project team.

  3. Ensure robust risk and issues management processes and tools are well embedded and meet requirements of the corporate risk policy.

  4. Build understanding and buy-in among key internal and external stakeholders

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Develop plans to introduce new products into Vietnam market in line with the NPI plan.

  • Work closely with Marketing team to ensure Launch Excellence principles are executed.

  • Create a climate for success in the project team: foster enthusiasm and teamwork, build relationships, reward and celebrate achievement.

  • Resolve project related issues and conflicts through skilled negotiation, tact and diplomacy where necessary

  • Develop & maintain project timelines by seamless integration of functional timing plans. Use of plan to identify & track all e2e project milestones. Timely provision and collation of project information to aid decision making & positively influence the work and decision-making of others outside his/her authority.

  • Assist project teams to define objectives, strategy, resources, costs and schedule to ensure flawless project progress.

  • Own & drive issues identification & resolution to assure a smooth transition among key decision points. Ensure project team addresses & resolves issues within its remit & develops sponsor recommendations for resolution of issues outside remit. Monitor development activities and use expert problem solving skills to develop creative solutions and to resolve conflicts in an objective manner

  • Ensure appropriate project team structure utilized to ensure appropriate focus on functional project activities & clear co-ordination & communication of strategic issues across functional interfaces with Project Manager and project sponsors.

  • Conduct post project reviews to capture and share key learning for future projects Ensure feedback on End to End is captured & actioned.

  • Collaborate and control: continually building and enhancing our ability to track projects and ensuring timely deliverables

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrated soft skills in effectively delivering work programs in a matrix environment, ability to influence and effectively progress / chase specific project related issues

  • Demonstrated effective communications skills for a wide variety of audiences, including senior management /category / stakeholder

  • Ability to prioritize resources and delegate activities as required

  • Good grasp of P&L and strong business and commercial acumen

  • Demonstrated information/data analytical and integration skills

  • Ability to work with Project Team and other stakeholders to identify novel solutions to specific project-related issues

  • Demonstrable experience in working with key functional leaders to swiftly mobilize resources other business units or functions to align behind a new opportunity, and to deliver that opportunity in a timely fashion

  • Negotiation skills and ability to influence with or without authority at a senior management level

  • Ability to think strategically and manage execution tactically

  • Comfortable operating in complex, ambiguous situations, and high levels of uncertainty

  • An ability to map out and understand highly interdependent issues

  • Graduate Degree level and 5+ years of commercial multi-dimensional management experience

  • The job holder must be confident in the unknown and unfamiliar and able to project confidence both internally and externally
