Manage, coach and develop the national sales organisation, in line with the global & regional BD strategy and the national sales plan, in order to gain new customers and to enhance the existing customer portfolio and thereby contributing to national growth and profitability.
Initiate and drive projects regarding organisational development and change management.
Maintain an ongoing communication with the organisation to regulate customer price levels.
Analyse market trends and sales opportunities and incorporate these into the National Sales Plan, aligned with Global & Regional Sales - as well as National Business Strategy
Optimize, implement and monitor compliance to sales policies and procedures.
As first line of contact and co-operate with all functions within the country to ensure optimum customer service. Provide support and advice to national sales staff
Monitor reports, identify shipment exceptions, rectify potential service failures, ensure complaints handling.
Ensure monitoring of DSO with existing customers.
Monitor and contribute to the analyses and solving of payment issues.
Academic skills and pro-active thinking level
Excellent negotiation & presentation techniques
Good sales techniques; concept sales, customer psychology and purchasing patterns
Fluent in local language and profound English skills
Sales experience in freight forwarding and logistics industry
