To establish a and maintain a knowledge-based platform for quick and ease of access to critical information for management decisions
To assist in the definition and implementation of the integration of data, information and intelligence into business plans
Take a critical part in the business intelligence team in collecting, analyzing and interpreting information and intelligence for management purposes, particularly in the preparation of the tourism outlook
Help to define the scope of the HKTB’s objectives, targets, the organization, schedule, and overall approach for business and investment
Take a leading role in defining and monitoring KPIs
Assist Executive Director and senior management in the formulation of strategies
Assist in compiling and publishing of the Annual Plan Book
Undertake any other duties/special assignments as directed by the Director, Strategic Planning & Research
Job Requirements
Degree holder preferably in Business Administration / Marketing / Statistics / Quantitative Analysis or equivalent disciplines
At least 10 years’ experience in strategic/marketing planning and environmental analysis
Knowledge and experience in performance assessment, analysis and reporting
In-depth knowledge of tourism, planning, budgetary control and marketing
Strong conceptual knowledge, analytical skills and critical abilities, technical skills in planning and data analysis
Experience in documentation of business requirements, analysis and features
Good budget control skills and attentiveness to details
Good knowledge of corresponded computer operations and programs
Strong in oral & written communication skills in English & Chinese
Excellent in presentation skills and problem solving skills
Able to prioritize and multi-task, and build strong relationships with stakeholders
