Job Description
Our client is a global web development company
Responsibilities
Work as a Technical Architect or Systems Architect on medium to large-scale web-based development projects using JAVA for international clients. This person will also be a member of a technical consulting team for consulting and R&D purposes.
Detailed work areas
- Support development team in technical troubleshooting & solution.
- Study new projects, research required technologies and develop technical solution proposals.
- Perform system analysis, architecture design as well as component design for medium and large projects.
- Research new trends for web development technologies.
- Apply technical training to development teams.
- Involved in coding if necessary.
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in web development technologies in general with in-depth knowledge of Java.
- Solid skills in popular Java technologies and frameworks/tools including: Restful Service, Spring Core, Spring AOP, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Integration, Hibernate (JPA), Apache Solr/Luence
- Solid Java scripting skills
- Skilled in architecture design of large-scale web-based systems using Java
- Excellent capability in research & development (R&D)
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns, Enterprise Integration Framework, and design patterns
- Advanced knowledge of database design & development; Oracle DB is a plus
- Strong knowledge of WebService development
- Good at HTML and CSS
- Experienced in software testing with focus on test automation
- Experienced in working with common web-based applications and new web technology concepts (CMS, Portal, e-commerce, online payment, newsletter, community, social networking, media streaming, CDN, Cloud, etc.)
- Experienced in working with all source control systems: SVN, Git
- Strong understanding of W3C standards
