Job Description

  • Co-ordinate, monitor and report on all eLearning System Operations (defined above) and its implementation progress for the Project Management Office (PMO).

  • Identify, evaluate and rectify problems arising in the Training Institutes, Curriculum development team, PMO and etc.

  • Plan and co-ordinate PMO resources to support the PMO objectives.

  • Supervise and execute eLearning System initiatives and projects to meet corresponding changes in the system and ops tools.

  • Effect and implement change management for both learning processes and physical establishments as part of the eLearning System implementation.

  • Ensure the integration of eLearning System project systems and implementation schedule.

  • Ensure that PMO project's operational products progress and status reports are produced and submitted on time to requesting agencies and forums.

  • Anticipate how project schedule impacts stakeholders and resolves conflicts and problems. Ensure all relevant PMO agencies and customers are represented appropriately.

  • Oversee all eLearning System contracts budget, procurement, conformance and acceptance processes and matters.

  • Drive Project Management Team (PMT) matters and follow-ups (including PMT meetings and discussions).

  • Manage the performance and effectiveness of the PMO branches.

  • Set and monitor the Operations centers' annual work plan objectives and achievements for reporting.

  • Manage performance and effectiveness of the project teams..

  • Monitor and report on PMO KPIs, staffing and processes.

  • Conduct and submit bi-annual performance reviews of the various PMO branch leads.

  • Supervise the PMO staff processes, including reviewing work quality and conducting performance reviews.

  • Implements and enforces the PMO security policy.

  • Develop the PMO Operations SOP (Standing operating procedures) and ensures adherence at all times.

Job Requirements

  • Holds a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science.

  • At least 3-5 years of working experience in a senior management position.

  • Candidates with prior SAF operations and training management experience is an advantage due to the close interaction and co-ordination with the SAF training community.

  • Experience in operating and managing support services in an office of at least 50 people.

  • Matured and self-motivated with good communication skills.

  • Excellent in staff management and good interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Proactive with problem solving skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous.

  • Strong project management an organisational skills
