Job Description
Managing the storage, distribution, and logistical functions related to finished goods inventories.
Ensuring the timely, accurate and cost effective delivery of finished goods to customers.
Providing oversight of the day-to-day tactical operations within the FG Department to optimize the service levels provided to Nissan's customer base.
Overseeing the successful execution of daily activities in the FG Department (including Inventory Control, Shipping and Transportation) to ensure the goals of the Company are being realized.
Managing the 3rd Party Warehouse/Distribution network (including contract negotiations, operations, spend and invoice approvals).
Directing the resolution and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies and/or invoice disputes with customers.
Resolving storage, transportation, systems and data integrity issues with various departments as related to FG management.
Leading various Supply Chain projects (including inventory management, warehouse management, material handling, systems development/ enhancement, etc.) in conjunction with cost takeout initiatives, process efficiency gains and overall customer satisfaction.
Consulting with plants on processes related to Inventory Management, Warehouse management and Logistics activities.
Creating metrics and data analysis tools to guide decisions on improvement initiatives and capital requests.
Coordinating with Warehouse and Plant Supervisors to establish procedures that support inventory best practices that allow for optimized material flow, efficient handling and accurate tracking of Finishing Goods.
Collaborating with customers to improve their overall satisfaction with FG and logistics areas.
Job Requirements
Male or Female, aged between 38 – 47 years old.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Supply Chain, Industrial Distribution, Logistic, Business Administration or any related field.
10 years experience with supply chain related activities - production control, inventory management, procurement, planning, or logistics preferably in automotive manufacturing environment.
Very good command in English (written and spoken)
Strong communication, interpersonal and computer skills.
Pleasant personality with strong problem solving and decision making skills.
