My client is looking for an experienced Sales leader to lead a team of Strategic Account Managers to acquire new business from the global hyperscale community. This will include customer segments such as Cloud Service Providers, Content and Media and OTT. The person in this role will have a significant impact on the business at the platform level.
Role and Responsibilities:
Develop and Maintain Key Account Program at Group level
Develop and Maintain Target Account Program at Group level
Collaborate with Senior Leadership Team, Marketing and Regional Sales team members to develop marketing plans
Collaborate with Senior Leadership Team, Marketing and Regional Sales team members to develop and maintain sales tool library
Develop and execute Go to Market strategies relevant to the target customer segments
Represent the company in industry associations, forums and marketing events as required
Provide market intelligence and insights relative to site selection and capacity planning activities
Manage team of geographically distributed Business Development and Strategic Account Managers
Demonstrated success in selling to this customer segment in a data center or telecommunications environment. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with increasing role responsibilities.
Demonstrated ability to attract, train and retain business development personnel in a regional role
Bachelor’s Degree is required, advanced studies or degrees are encouraged
Ability to lead complex service contract negotiations
Significant travel will be required, potentially up to 50% or more some periods
