Job Description

Job Objectives
  • To be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities for a company in any assigned markets.
  • To be staffing and directing a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.
  • To establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and to contribute to the development of training and educational programs for department staffing plan.
  • Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Responsible for the success for performance and development of the new and potential customers
  • Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of solution and proposal marketing plans as needed.
  • Conducts a review with all internal teams to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs with the focus to department productivity and effectiveness, and to provide insight for the improvement of company’s sales and activity performance via sales intelligence to enter new markets and/or to acquire new customers.
  • Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performances of sales activities/status with business feasibility, overview, and projection.
  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margins of a company.
  • Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports of new customers.
  • Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFQ/RFP response and execution starting from quote to acquisition.
  • Assists internal working teams and management teams in preparation of proposals and presentations.
  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Recruits, tests, and hires staffs as appropriate for department and team based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.
Relationships and Roles

Internal / External Cooperation:
  • Insures that all new business exploration/activity to meet and/or to exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals, and closes.
  • Delegates authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up to closes of new customers.
  • Sets examples for professional salesmanship in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
  • Conducts regular coaching and counseling with sales force and department staff to build motivation and selling skills.
  • Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction as well as the prompt access to market intelligent information
  • Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees, regulations, cultures, and norms

Job Requirements

  • Overseas graduate or a candidate with a proof of English language communications with 5 years of experience in sales and marketing management from companies that sell or buy raw material, machine/equipment, or EMS/CM industry.
  • Experience with independent work assignments regarding to quote management to customer acquisition.
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of Sales and Marketing Paradigm and Customer Relationship Management.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements regarding to Electrical and Electronics Industry.
  • Willingness to travel and to work in a global team of professionals.
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams and be on own assignments.
  • Proven of outstanding sales records with solution/project/proposal sales environments.
