Job Description

Our Client provides engineering system solutions and industrial products.

Primary Function:

  • Build up and maintain good knowledge on relevant industry sectors and their development trend to support growth and development of the Group.

  • Identify and evaluate specific growth opportunities for new and existing business, and report market dynamics in related industries on regular basis.

  • Broaden the geographic dynamics in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Thailand.

  • Keep abreast of the current issues and Company related opportunities

  • Establish and maintain good relationship with key contacts of related local industries and channel.

  • Represent the Group's interests in local and regional councils and associations.

  • Keep abreast of the Groups' latest products and service offers.

  • Support BUs in their business development and operation activities, including sales opportunities, facility expansion, relocation, green-field setups, M&A, etc.

  • Establish and maintain good relationship with government agencies and trade organizations and monitor policy development.

  • Understand BUs business and strategy and work closely with BU regional and local managers.

  • Schedule, conduct and follow up on local Country Manager meetings.

Job Requirements

  • University degree in business or related subjects. MBA and Engineering degree most preferred.

  • Min. 7 yearsí experience in Business Development with major local companies or MNCís.

  • Exposure to the Indo-China region needed.

  • Possess strategic thinking and strong analytical skills.

  • Mature, a team player, with high integrity and positive attitude.

  • Determined and persistent in leading the effort in developing and following up programs.

  • Good presentation to be Groupís representative to local businesses and government communities.

  • Proficiency in English and computer literate (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Able to travel within the region (approx. 50% of the time).
