Increases HSBC’s market presence and profile for corporate banking business by implementing an active calling program for the incumbent’s and managing the sales activities in order to develop new CMB business.
Continues to the PCM business by formulating and implementing an aggressive sales plan focusing on the promotion services as and when they are launched.
Contributes to the growth and profitability of commercial banking business of HSBC by formulating and implementing aggressive business development plan to meet or exceed agreed business targets for the incumbent’s designated division and reviewing them regularly.

Manages an existing portfolio of clients with a strong emphasis on proactively providing client driven value add solutions
Increases profitability and retention of an existing customer base by maintaining high service standard
Contributes to the effective management of top CMB relationships from within the designated division by making joint visits with the product partners during annual facility reviews or when canvassing for new/additional business
Contributes to the GTRF, PCM, Insurance and GMs business in the region by formulating and implementing an aggressive sales plan with strong focus on increasing utilisation of facilities from relationships within the designated division as well as seeking new good quality relationships.

Ensures high quality lending by considering all strategic and key risk issues recommending for approval.
Safeguards the Bank from potential loss by ensuring that credit reviews are kept up to date and that problem accounts are identified and dealt with at an early stage and operational controls are in place.
Maintains and ensures due observance of HSBC Internal Control Standards, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal / external auditors and external regulators.
Remains compliant with and ensures awareness of Audit and Group requirements and other internal guidelines. Ensures strict compliance with government banking regulations. Timely implement internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
Minimum of 5 years of managerial and commercial banking experience with exposure to trade services operations and marketing of corporate products and services.
Strong sales and business development capability to earn new market share.
Practical experience and attendance of relevant courses.
Familiarity with various computer systems/applications software in the front office is desirable.
Ability to communicate, identify and analyse customer requirements, provide and sell need-based solutions to customers effectively.
