Job Description

Our client is an expanding Asia-based banking institution which has a network of more than 500 offices spanning 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Western Europe and North America. The wide range of financial services they provide include but not limited to Private Banking, Commercial and Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Treasury Services, Future Broking, Asset Management, and Insurances. They have continued to make profits with its strong fees, steady growth in loans and robust asset quality.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as an advisor in all matters related to human resources
  • Act as a strategic partner in recruitment, talent management and development, employee relations, compensation and benefits for various business units
  • Streamline and enhance existing policies, process and practices to ensure effectiveness of the business and HR function
  • Analyze job functions, monitor benefit scale/scheme in line with the company's global grading system
  • Provide headcount analysis and produce headcount reports and HR related reports periodically
  • Ensure the HR management activities are in compliance with employment laws and HR practices
  • Compile HR reports and analysis on regular basis for strategic planning, review and decision-making
  • Participate in regional projects and collaborate with the headquarters on global HR initiative
  • Enhance people engagement and sense of belonging to the company
  • Work closely with Head of Human Resources in all strategic and hands-on matters concerning HR

Job Requirements

  • At least 12 years of Human Resources experience, and with a solid generalist background
  • Working experience in sizeable and structured companies with corporate governance, preferably with banking and financial services
  • Open-minded, proactive and with strong influencing powers to drive changes
  • A team player to work closely with other stakeholders within and outside the HR team and in the flat-structured environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese, both written and oral
