Job Description

As a Vendor Operations Manager you will support the daily operational functions within vendor order management; to ensure timely and correct delivery of merchandise, through consistent communication and follow-up with the vendors, the Warehouse and the acquisition team; and to develop key cross functional relationships with the Warehouse, Acquisition and Production teams.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Acquisition and Operations department and work in synergy with Acquisition and Planning teams toward common goals for the Acquisition-OPS area.
  • Continuously assess and optimize acquisition operations processes through cross functional collaboration, including the Regional Acquisition team in Singapore.
  • Ensure timely and correct delivery of merchandise through consistent communication and follow-up with the vendors, warehouse and acquisition team.
  • Follow up on defective or poor quality merchandise with acquisition team and vendors.
  • Responsible for Inbound shipment reporting and PO reconciliation for Acquisition and Finance department
  • Ensure that the flow of goods between Warehouse and Production Studio is running seamlessly
  • Develop, manage and optimize multiple fulfillment processes including warehouse fulfillment, cross-docking and drop-shipping
  • Drive and manage developments in Seller Center (cross-docking and drop-shipping management) platform to ensure an optimized processes for vendors and ZALORA.

Job Requirements

  • Preference for 3-4 years of experience in similar retail operational role
  • Excellent organizational/project management, prioritizing and time management skills
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to learn quickly and to retain information. Must be analytical and be able to comprehend how multiple systems interact.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment; demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with direction from Manager.
  • High sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experienced in Word and Excel.
  • Exhibits a high energy level as well as a positive attitude.
  • Ability to understand technical platform interaction and development
