Job Description

1. Sales & Retail Operations
  • Oversee day-to-day operation of the stores and solve unresolved operational issues
  • Lead, motivate, coach and develop sales team and sales staff in performance & career development
  • Ensure that the highest standard of housekeeping on and off the sales floor are maintained at all times
  • Provide necessary resources and support to stores
  • Plan and take necessary steps to have optimum stock levels, minimize inventory discrepancies and maintain system accuracy
  • Implement and support all security measures
  • Ensure that the highest standard of merchandising are maintained at all times
  • Prepare monthly analysis report & relevant documents to management review
  • Provide leadership to current sales team, achieve sales target & profit margin to meet business objectives
  • Assist to prepare new store opening and shop renovation projects
2. Merchandising & Business Management
  • Monitor the inventory and the merchandising variety among the stores and work with Merchandising Department to optimize  the effectiveness of the stores
  • Provide feedback on merchandising and customer needs in the area
  • Be aware of local trading environment and its impact on our sales, including competitors' trading activities
  • Suggest in-store events and in-store incentives that will continue to grow customer base, with particular emphasis placed on building local market
3. Team management
  • Communicate vision, strategy and clear directions to retail staff
  • Ensure adequate staffing through recruitment, rotation, mobility, training and development
  • Motivate, drive, inform and actively coordinate retail teams to build team spirit and positive working environment
  • Monitor sales team KPIs performance
  • Conduct training to ensure proper training of sales staff and excellent customer service
  • Manage recruitment and career development of the team
4. Marketing & Communications
  • Work with the Marketing Department in in-store events to maximise sales 
5. Perform other duties as required

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years or above retail experience preferably in footwear products
  • With at least 3 years experience in supervisory and management of multiple stores
  • Strong planning and analytical skills
  • Willing to devote himself or herself to grow together with the company
  • A good team player with good leadership skill
  • Excellent communication skills in Cantonese, Putonghua & English
  • Good computer skills in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Independent, mature, responsible with positive and proactive attitude
