Job Description

  • The individual is responsible for the achievement of the sales target set for the assigned sales territories in Indonesia and contribute towards the overall achievement of the sales target in the ASEAN Region.
  • Responsible for the sales and marketing efforts for the company in Indonesia
  • Maintaining contacts, representation and communication activities with current and new customers within Indonesia. Customers include installers, engineering, design firms, BOT Contractor, and owners.
  • Provide the ASM-ASEAN Region with accurate and timely market information, including but not limited to competitor pricing, client position and market trends
  • Organize and or participate in sanctioned marketing functions, trade shows, sales conferences including booth set-up, presentations, etc. in the assigned territories or as per require by the ASM (ASEAN)
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge base of all products produced world-wide.
  • Maintain a knowledge level to support the addressing of issues related to industry, regulatory and agency approvals throughout the market territory
  • Serve as a support to other Company staff members in addressing customer complaints related to sales and technical issues in the assigned territories
  • Support the accounting department is resolving any invoicing or accounting issues with client in the assigned territories. Assist in the collection of past due accounts
  • Support the ASM, (ASEAN Region) and Director of Sales APAC, as necessary in the continuing effort to best position for the products.
  • Other assignments as directed by the Director of Sales - APAC

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, High polymer materials, Mining Engineering, Geotechnical/Environmental Engineering or equivalent. Well educated in the disciplines of engineering, chemistry with a strong technical understanding.
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience in a relevant industry or 5 years in others industries
  • Technical sales experience
  • Willing to work from Home base office and travel throughout Indonesia for up to 60% of the time. Possess a valid passport to travel outside Indonesia if so directed.
  • Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English language.
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Office, CRM Program, and basic Business Process Programs e.g. AX is a bonus
  • A good communicator with a positive outlook.
  • Experience in developing, preparing and giving technical presentations and product demonstration.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Possess a valid driving licence
