Job Description

  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice supply chain vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance in the ASEAN Region
  • Plan, manage and evaluate supply chain operations liaising with internal departments, suppliers, logistics providers, and transport
  • Deliver solutions to supply chain problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements.
  • Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times and costs (semester planning)
  • Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports or operational issues.
  • Ensure the integrity of inventory accuracy and manage stock movements with the help of direct reports.
  • Interpret trends and analyses and review of data, provide meaningful from all the supply chain.
  • Share data to others within the organization to aid catering service and cost improvements.
  • Ensure IT systems  in place are effective, maintained and accurate.
  • Consults with company management to determine supply budget.
  • Places orders for supplies.
  • Creates strategic plan for recurring future orders.
  • Negotiate with distributors for bulk prices.
  • Oversees the transfer of goods from warehouses to satellite stores.
  • Reduces or increases supply orders to meet consumer demands.
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, legal, health and safety requirements.
  • Support new business initiatives and projects and contribute to review meetings and change process. Ensure effective logistics implementation takes place relating to the changes to be implemented.
  • Conduct or review audits for logistics activities to ensure processes and procedures are as per companies and QHSE rules and regulations.
  • Comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies
  • Support encourages and develop team
  • Proactively contribute to creating a good team atmospher
Position based either in Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur or Ho Chi Minh City

  • Understands best shipping and ordering practices.
  • Possesses knowledge of product, manufacturing, and shipping costs.
