Address and discuss quality issues and unacceptable products with quality control personnel.
Ensure control and storage of inventory in line with lean principles.
Continuously develop the external materials logistic network to achieve the lowest cost movement of materials into and out of plants.
Ensure appropriate supply chain metric targets are achieved.
Develop market information of Key Strategic Raw Materials.
Analyze product allocation with the best contribution margin.
Developing and executing the stocking levels, planning, and replenishment of inventory buffers.
Bachelorís Degree or higher in Logistics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or any related field.
At least 18 years of supply chain management experience with managerial capacity, especially with experience in the manufacturing industry - manufacturing capacity Ė high volume, high mix environment preferred.
Strong working knowledge of planning, input/output control, product structures, bills of materials, routings, demand, management, warehouse, SAP-ERP, and cost accounting systems.
A solid foundation of strategic material planning, inventory controlling and knowledgeable in all related logistics areas.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and possess strong initiative and problem solving skills.
Good command of written and spoken English.
