The role is covering service and commissioning of Airport Products (ARFF Trucks) in the South Asia region. This position requires the incumbent to be trained and be well versed in the service support of ARFF. Extensive travelling is required. Responsibilities include working closely with our sales team to deliver products post PDI and commission the trucks to book revenue for the business segment. The position is also expected to drive revenue for Parts Sales and Post Warranty Service Hours.
1. Leadership & Planning
Ensure the Service Capability for the region meet and exceed Customers’ requirements and expectations
Partner the Sales Team to drive sales for the region by delivering excellent after sales support
Lead and motivate the Service team to achieve timely resolution of issues for customers
Maintain Service standards and delivery by effective managing crossfunctional processes/stakeholders expectations
Plan and assign resources for on-site support
2. Product Training
Provide product training to dealers and customers
Update training materials and translate into regional languages as needed
Measure training effectiveness and feedback after each training
Attends regular product training as scheduled by US counterparts
3. Product Commissioning
Conduct Product Pre-delivery inspection as scheduled
Identify and track “hanging issues” for closure within 3 months of hand over to customer
Provides PDI report to Factory for feedback and follow up
Obtains Customer signoff and acceptance needed for revenue recognition
4. After Sales Service Support
Ensures adequate parts support in country
Trains dealers in standard service support
Responds to field issues 7/24 and follows through for close out
Liaise with US Warranty and service department for service bulletin updates
Schedules periodic and proactive routine visits to customer locations to monitor truck condition
5. Customer Satisfaction
Identify field issues proactively and develop reports to monitor field performance
Track warranty failures and drive issue resolution with factory
Conducts customer satisfaction surveys as needed
Support sales team in pre-sales and post sales activity
6. Implement Company Policies
Develop Budget and Facilitate Budget compliance
Uphold corporate image and communicates professionally to customers commitment to the company.
Implements company policies and procedures
Special projects as assigned
7. Any other duties assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering preferred
8 years experience in the service of heavy-duty truck sales in Fire Trucks for Airports.
Other experience in Wreckers, Tire Changers, and Cement Mixers & Refuse trucks can also be considered.
Must have excellent people (relationship building) skills.
Organized, professional and high integrity
Proficient language ability in English & Chinese Language ability would be an added advantage
