Job Description

Our client is a global retail company and seeking for a professional Senior Quality Manager to join their hardgoods team.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with other internal departments (product development, sourcing, logistics & account management etc) to understand and achieve customer's quality standards.
  • Manage quality issues and ensure production with "zero" defects.
  • Develop quality guidelines and instruct QA team and suppliers on customer quality requirements and appropriate implementation.
  • Define quality standard and policies to maintain/upgrade quality level in cost effective ways.
  • Review current testing and incorporate additional testing if necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years' extensive experience in apparel quality management, where at least 5 years at managerial level
  • Strong negotiation skills and sophisticated in vendor/supplier management
  • Ablility to work under pressure
  • Experience working in trading company or buying office will be an advantage
  • Willing to travel
  • Excellent command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
