Our client is located in Penang & is a well established company in developer, construction & consultant.
To be overall responsible for project operation including planning, coordinating, monitoring, and implementing the project from conception to completion; plan and schedule project timelines, track project deliverables, monitoring project on quality, cost and time within project budget.
Must be able to coordinate with consultants on operational and overall design requirements and project management.
Possess high level of technical competence in Civil & Structural Design for residential / commercial development experienced especially high rise building and experienced in infrastructure project.
Review architechtural designs, costing, project planning, implementation, monitoring and quality control of construction works.
To supervise the subordinates on checking or work to meet the material and workmanship requirements.
To plan ahead of schedule so that site problems can be resolved before they have impact on cost , overall schedule and quality.
Draft and submit budget proposals and recommed subsequent budget changes where necessary.
Liaise effectively with project team, local authorities, contractors, sub-contractors, and consultants.
Attend to design and site meetings.
Sound knowledge of civil and structural designing, must be able to use ORION software.??
To assist the General Manager, Technical and Project, in taking charge of the responsibility for project operation. This includes planning, coordinating, monitoring and implementing projects, from concept to completion. The planning of projects are especially important as it may end its effects on project timelines and tracking of project deliverables other related areas are concern with the management and control of quality, cost-effectiveness, and creativity and innovation.
Other tasks to be covered which within the project management scopes.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree and preferred a Professional Engineer.
Required skill(s): Experience in Project Management and Development of high rise buildings, MS office, Auto Cad.
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in both design and construction management.
Experience in Design & Build Projects and construction of high rise building will be an added advantages.
Good team player with strong leadership qualities with good people management skill and excellent communication with at all levels.
Results-oriented with excellent project management capabilities, as well as organizational and analytical skills.
Familiar with ISO standard.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
Able to work independently and willing to take challenge.
