Job Description

As the Senior Operations Director, the selected candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of the site location through 8-10 operations managers overseeing 200+ FTEs. 
  • Manage departmental and program performance through designated operations managers by monitoring regular productivity and quality metrics and providing guidance on staffing & workload adjustments.
  • Lead operations managers and partner with on-shore counterparts to exceed productivity and quality SLAs.
  • Lead process improvement efforts across multiple programs to enhance business results and customer experience.
  • Provide leadership to direct reports with emphasis on staff and skills development, while reinforcing organizational culture of managerial accountability and employee engagement.
  • Manage financial goals by reviewing expenses, monthly budget performance reports, forecasting expenses, and making necessary adjustments with overall responsibility for site P&L.
  • Manage risk and continuously monitor compliance to regulatory requirements in all areas of the business.
  • Develop and manage new service line pricing models for new customers.
  • Lead and manage the introduction of new service lines of business.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years as a senior operations manager in a BPO environment
  • Proven BPO experience in labor intensive service offerings including Contact/Call Center, Recruiting/HR Process Outsourcing, Publishing Services or other service industries
  • Management responsibility for 200+ FTEs
  • Successfully managed the launch of new lines of business
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong ability to guide individuals toward goal achievement using negotiation, teamwork/collaboration, motivation and staff development skills including the ability to act as a role model within the organization. 
  • Excellent ability to demonstrate innovation and good judgment/problem solving skills when making decisions.
  • Ability to establish a course of action for self and others to accomplish a specific goal while using appropriate resources.
  • Ability to coach, develop action plans, which maximize performance, and provide effective feedback. Proven ability to analyze and improve work processes and policies.
  • Work well under pressure, professional demeanor, and strong communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Excellent financial analysis and budgetary skills.
  • Skilled in defining service requirements and translating into specific service plans. Ability to modify and refine service plans and operational practices to meet changing customer requirements or process improvements.
  • Ability to analyze and implement processes and problem resolutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Human Resources and Recruitment
  • Excellent motivational skills with a demonstrated ability to develop leaders
  • Ability to competently address rapid changes in service delivery in a dynamic and time-sensitive environment
  • Minimum 4 year degree
