Acting as the main point of financial advice and support to the institute whilst maintaining strong links with the parent organisation, you will carry out a range of professional accountancy tasks including preparation and monitoring of budgets to assist in planning and decision making, considering both institute and parent organisation interests.
You will be responsible for the statutory Financial Statements and provision of financial information to external bodies, direct and indirect tax management, business partnering to CEO and COO, coordinate and lead the local Finance Team (including oversight and line management of staff) for their personal development and role related training of staff, enusre appropriate systems, internal control, processes and policies are in place to deliver an efficient financial service, to produce regular management information packs for senior management team and any other duties as allocated by the line manager following consultatation with the post holder.
Possess a minimum of 6- 8 years relevant working experience in Education or Services sector with Degree qualification. 2 years of which is in managerial capacity.
Have excellent communication & negotiation skills.
Currently based in Malaysia and worked extensively in companies with international perspective.
