Formulating and implementing effective marketing plans to achieve sales and marketing objectives for the assigned brands within the agreed A&P budget. Develop brand activity plans in line with marketing plans that provide strong ROI. To ensure advertising and promotional (A&P) costs are in line with agreed budget by constant monitoring and control of costs
To effectively position the brands by assessing the market characteristics, competition and pricing strategy in order to pursue higher sales turnover and profit margins.
To effectively liaise with principals on brand and sales objectives by establishing a close working relationship, understanding Principal’s key brand strategy and implementing key brand objectives.
Analysis of brand performance, by region, Channel and SKU by store/outlet with recommendations to optimize opportunities in order to deliver brand growth
Actively generate valuable feedback to ensure building market share and brand awareness as well as identify and recommend new business opportunities and improvement to strengthen the assigned brands
To work closely with the sales team (Mass and Horeca) on brands for effective implementations of promotional programs.
To meet and satisfy the sales demand for stocks at optimum level by planning and forecasting monthly and yearly sales budgets and ensuring smooth supply and delivery from Principals or external suppliers.
Responsibility for coaching and development of direct report to meet agreed KPI’s
Degree preferably in Marketing or Business Administration
Minimum 4 years experience, preferably within the food FMCG or Foodservice industry
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of and enjoyment in cooking western food
Dynamic with strong numeric and analytical skills and capability in multi-tasking
Positive attitude, result oriented, resourceful, innovative, able to travel and work with minimum supervision as well as a team player
Good command of English both written and spoken
