Job Description

The successful candidate will lead export and domestic sales and marketing activities, including development and execution of sales & marketing strategic plans and goals to ensure BU strategy and goals are met.

Accountabilities:

40% Deliver Sales Targets

  • Deliver targeted sales volume : Develop short, medium and long-term sales goals.
  • Lead all sales, marketing and R&D activities for export and domestic products.
  • Track and analyze sales performance and monitor market movements of supply and demand. Effectively develop pricing strategy and manage sales activities to secure high profit margins and increased sales revenue.


20% Customer Relations and Product Portfolio Management

  • Build and maintain good relationship with existing customers and expand customer base. Manage existing customers and strengthen relationship with them while exploring opportunities for growth.
  • Manage customers portfolio, strengthen relationships to maintain existing customers and actively explore sales channel opportunities to expand customer base
  • Develop and leverage industry knowledge and competitive intelligence to drive a competitive advantage.


15% Business Development

  • Lead/Champion innovative or performance enhancement sales projects.
  • New product development & Product improvement : Manage coordination with other functions in managing customers' requirements to develop new products and to improve product quality and processes.
  • Actively participate in developing and executing customer specific and regional geographic strategic growth plans


15% Build/Increase Sales&Marketing Capabilities

  • Develop sales and marketing talent capable of developing and executing successful industry leading sales and marketing plans.
  • Identify and develop talent capable of taking leadership positions across multiple functional areas.
  • Develop self and others in poultry industry and business wide including key drivers of operations, supply chain, agriculture, HR, and finance. Demonstrate the ability to connect these other areas to the sales efforts AND transfer this knowledge to their direct reports and others in the organization.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor Degree in any field
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of time
  • 10 years in export Sales & Marketing, business development, preferred Food industry.
  • 5 years in leadership role with global or multinational organizations
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking to be able to formulate sales business strategy and turning strategy into successful execution.
  • Effective problem solving and decision-making skills and behavioral capability to manage commercially viable customer expectations while managing teams to meet quality expectations.
  • Proven high efficiency in relationship management for both internal and external organizations
  • Advanced negotiation skills for current and future trading
  • Excellent analytical skills in business, sales and organization
  • Proven leadership skills – able to build high performing teams
  • Knowledge of global market
  • Understanding of Financial Analysis, P&L management and business key drivers (eg. Exchange)
  • Demonstrated Sales, Sales Management and Sales Coaching Skills
  • Fast learner and a high agility as change leader

Preferred

  • Excellent communications skills in both Thai and English – as the position is required to collaborate intensely with Thailand’s Operations and some government agencies, organizations.
  • Some Product knowledge and Food Safety Laws and Regulations
  • Understanding of food processing knowledge and compliance applicable laws and regulations
