The Regional Sales Manager will hold a permanent & full-time position and will work from a home-office in the Southeast Asia territory. The main responsibility of the Regional Sales Manager is to increase sales of PWT’s line of specialty chemical products and services in the assigned territory (Southeast Asia: Indonesia, Philippines, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, etc.). This will be done by developing and maintaining relationships with distribution partners, membrane system operators, engineering firms, project developers, etc. The Regional Sales Manager will visit existing customer sites and will be able to provide hands-on support of membrane treatment and associated pre and post-treatment systems. The Regional Sales Manager is also expected to attend and hold the ability to present at industry trade shows to promote our business. This position requires considerable travel.
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES DESIRED
Minimum of 7 years of chemicals or water treatment sales experience, with strong customer focus;
Degree in engineering or chemistry field (preferred);
Experience with the application of specialty chemicals for membrane systems (preferred);
Experience with membrane systems such as reverse osmosis (RO), ultrafiltration (UF), nano-filtration (NF), media filtration, etc. (preferred);
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written in English
Fluency in other regional languages, an asset;
Strong presentation and communication skills;
Ability to work autonomously, self-starter;
Technical problem-solving skills;
Extensive travelling is required.
