Responsible for assigned accounts within Enterprise and Government & Public Safety in developing new business opportunities and maximize existing business to achieve sales and profit targets for the company.
Establish effective communications with appropriate executives and managers inside the company and the distributors’ organization in order to maximize sales effectiveness.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Business Development
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to expand and develop the company’s business with Customers/Distributors
- Assist in the development of detailed strategic account & marketing plans that include a detailed analysis of customers’ current and future business strategy.
- Support Country Sales Manager in penetrating new market territory/accounts
- Keep informed about Motorola Solutions’ products to ensure these are effectively communicated to customers and distributors
2. Order and Sales
- Responsible to manage full sales cycle for run-rate opportunities in following accounts:
- Government Ministries and Bodies
- Oil & Gas, Mining
- Support Country Sales Manager in managing sales cycle for big/strategic opportunities in above accounts
- Responsible to manage assigned sales opportunities to ensure achievement of orders and sales target.
- Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring the data is updated
- Prepare and conduct sales presentations
- Participate in customer negotiation
- Manage and lead some sub-processes in the tender preparation
- Conduct post sales review – both of successful sales and unsuccessful bids
- Monitor delivery of project to ensure projects are delivered according to contracts
3. Channel Management
- Assist in channel management strategy including
- Review effectiveness of existing channel strategy and distributors
- Grow distributors networks including recruit new distributors
- Assist distributors in developing sales strategy and plan to be inline with Motorola Solutions’ strategy
- Working closely with distributors to ensure achievement of order and sales targets
- Motivate and grow distributors capabilities
- Ensure distributors data are updated in the Emtaris system.
Key Performance Indicators
- Ensure that sales initiatives comply with relevant Country’s and Motorola Solutions’ regulations and ethical standards.
- Excellent result in achieving Order and Sales goals
- Build solid pipeline for next year
- Active participation in strategy planning
