Job Description

Sales Development

  • Be responsible for sales turnover;
  • Implement pro-active technical service and sales approaches/actions;
  • Arrange product testing and trial runs;
  • Attend to claims by customers and provide measures to resolve them
  • Cooperate closely with other Technical and Sales Teams to achieve effective implementation of after sales services;
  • Develop new market/application;
  • Cooperate closely with Product/Technical Development Team to ensure best product and service quality and good information flow;
  • To prepare visit and monthly reports as timely requested.

Market intelligence

  • Conduct market intelligence studies on competitors’ products/market share and initiate appropriate action plans;
  • Monitor, identify investment related to Consumer-electric industry and develop business solutions;
  • Prepare market, competitors, customers reports on a regular basis.

• Customer management

  • Maintain existing customers and improving business relationship;
  • Coordinates with experts to conduct field visits, seminars, presentation and attend to customers’ inquiries;
  • Provide prompt response related to quality, technical applications, inquiries, and other related issues;
  • Conduct customers’ assessments and analyses to ensure the strategic focus is in the right place;
  • Align with team to ensure best product, service quality and good information flow and solve customers’ issues.

• Credit management

  • Define credit levels in coordination with credit team;
  • Be responsible for payment collection.

Job Requirements

  • Education: University Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry;
  • Working experience: At least 5 years experienced in Technical field of Engineering Plastic Industry, preferred in MNCs;
  • Job Knowledge: Good understanding engineering plastic products, PBT, POM, PA6, PA66, TPU… both chemistry and processing;
  • Prioritized competencies: Act with Entrepreneurial Drive, Demonstrate Customer Focus, Communicate Effectively;
  • Good command of English and computer skills (excel).


  • Verbal communication in English & Japanese.
