Reporting to the Head of Sales for South East Asia, the Sales Director will significantly contribute to the value of the Company by attracting profitable business, increasing company's revenue and fostering long term relationships with key clients in the region.
Identify and capture new business opportunities to meet the company revenue targets for specific markets in South East Asia, including the Pacific Islands and Indo China
Achieve revenue goals and provide accurate sales reports for forecasting purposes
Work closely with the technical and account management teams to ensure efficient and timely completion of pre- and post-sales activities in connection with customer contracts and service activation
Identify future capacity and product requirements for the South East Asia customer markets
Support the Business Development team on market strategies and on the execution of key commercial deals
Manage a diverse customer portfolio and identify new prospects
Monitor competitive activity and provide feedback to Management
Bachelor's Degree in Management, Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 6 years of experience working in the satellite AND telecoms industries
Successful track record in sales, business and market development
Knowledge of the South East Asia markets and strong customer relationships in the region; experience with local government sectors is an advantage
Previous experience working in a multicultural environment
Excellent team player with strong inter-personal skills and good initiative
