Job Description

Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of one of the world’s global leaders in financial technology for banking, insurance and other financial services. It provides full spectrum, fully integrated products that run in more than 200 financial institutions, across 30 countries. This innovative and exciting company is seeking a high-calibre sales professional for the job of Sales Director, to be based in Jakarta, Indonesia. 

Responsibilities:
Sales Responsibilities:
  • Establish and achieve business plan
  • Lead, direct and manage sales campaigns
  • Provide timely and accurate sales and customer engagement reporting
  • Cultivate and motivate local and external team members. Leads by example to build and grow a team of enthusiastic and focused sales people
  • Develop sales strategies and winning value propositions
  • Leverage the organization and stakeholders to offer compelling value propositions using Intellect Design Arena products and services
  • Ensure timely and accurate sales forecasting displaying a strong grasp of bid dynamics in play
  • Follow company standards and operational guidelines as required by the EVP, Sales
Marketing Responsibilities:
  • Track and report on competition and market trends impacting business
  • Promote company and services. Establish positive brand image
  • Lead local Sales Campaigns from the front and support Regional Sales Campaigns. Monitor performance and garner market feedback
  • Ensure capability to present company solutions and awareness of marketing communication materials for prospects
  • Ensure company presence at selected financial markets industry events and “top 10” bank coverage with Sales account plans and key stakeholder mapping

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related quantitative field or industry sales domain
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in pre-sales, sales or consulting in the banking software application space for FSI accounts. Must have previously led sales teams to success
  • Demonstrable success previously in quota bearing sales and sales leadership roles is key
  • Work experience in the FSI Technology & Operations (T&O) sales organizations, with strong Banking software background preferred
  • General knowledge of Treasury, Digital Channel, Retail & Commercial, Corporate banking application software solutions an advantage
  • Strong knowledge in similar competing vendors’ solutions & offerings is preferred
  • Solid facilitation and interpersonal communication skills a must
  • Resourceful and able to work effectively as a team
  • Should possess good and sound knowledge of industry standards, local financial regulatory standards and ability to discuss basic technology architecture concepts
  • Must have strong presentation skills and experience in contract negotiations
  • Must be fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English languages
  • Must be familiar with word, excel and powerpoint software packages
