Job Description

  • Support to Ralph Lauren retail stores network
    • Coach and train the Ralph Lauren storesí sales staff to optimize sales and build competencies
    • Ensure timely delivery of products based on orders and assortments
    • Assist Regional Ralph Lauren Asia Pacific Management for new stores opening (sales staff hiring, products assortment)
    • Ensure smooth operational processes for products transfers or returns including after sales services
  • Develop and manage wholesale sales performance
    • Plan monthly and annual sales budget, monitor and achieve
    • Develop opening, refurbishment and closure program
    • Develop POS design to maximize sales, treatment and image potential
    • Develop coaching and training of the wholesale sales staff
    • Maintain and improve sales conditions in network
    • Direct and develop service excellence to dealers and dealersí clients (product availability, information, CIS, etc.)
    • Identify and propose new wholesale partners to develop RLWJ network within Brandís criteria
  • Develop and manage Trade marketing and Brand visibility
    • Responsible for the development of the APAC Marketing Strategy
    • Propose and monitor Marketing initiatives and programs in the region
    • Ensure the Brand image is well represented and respected on the point of sales (visual merchandising, display material, appropriate and strong product mix)
    • Monitor all Co-op marketing initiatives and ensure they are in line sithe the Brandís Strategy (advertising, events, POS material, catalogs, etcÖ)
    • Oversee and host Marketing and Communication events
    • Represent and promote the Brand towards various communities
    • Conduct trends and market analysis and establish competitor bench marking
  • Manage the operations processes
    • Coordinate the Supply chain, from ordering to shipping, in conjunction with the Shared Services platform and HQ
    • Monitor in-store inventory level and stock rotation to optimize distribution of products
    • Monitor frequency of shipping transactions to minimize related costs and optimize efficiency
    • Ensure that Customer After Sales Services needs are met in timely manner that processes are effective and efficient
    • Ensure Brandís needs are identified and developed during SAP roll-out in APAC
  • Develop and manage Wholesale General Management function
    • Contribute to annual brand plan, for local agreement and agreement with Geneva
    • Manage and develop Wholesale P&L
    • Supervise and manage RLWJ local team in APAC

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration - Marketing or equivalent is preferred
  • Excellent proven track record in a similar position in Asia Pacific
  • Commercial/Marketing experience in luxury goods (watches)
  • Results oriented, pragmatic and service-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills and trainig skills
  • Good team player and with leadership abilities
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Extensive travels within the area will be required
