Job Description

Under the supervision of the Commercial Director, the FMCG Sales Development Director ensures the excellent sales performance at Stores, accompany the sales concept deployment, follow up the KPIs… in order to serve firm’s customers the best.

Main missions

  1. Analyze the competitors in order to define the keys factors which make them strong in the market, and then to propose solutions in order to improve the sales in Vietnam.
  2. From the market researches results, to analyze competitors, customers, and to make proposals to managers about assortments and price policies
  3. Follow up the KPI of stores, control the concept implementation at site, provides advises for enhancement
  4. Be responsible for the training, to ensure that all staffs have good selling skills with high performance
  5. Working with concept, marketing, purchasing, HR, Finances departments… for studying and implementing solutions for pushing sales (a bonus system for the staffs, new concept and marketing compaign....)
  6. To give advises about the purchases of major operations, strategies, assortment, store openings, services to meet the needs of our customers, commitments about products, etc…

Job Requirements

  • Education : University degree in economics/business management…
  • Experience : min 10 years of experiences with achievements in sales, sales development, strategic planning, business development, operational consulting…
  • Attitude: positive thinking and result-oriented, customer focus
  • Language: Good command of English (French is an asset)
  • Computers skills : Office applications
  • Knowledge on the market, retail industry in Vietnam, KPI on retail industry, policies and procedures of a retail company
  • Technical skills
    • Plan & implement the project
    • Can delivery training on technical skills or soft-skills
    • Problem solving method & practices
    • Selling ideas
    • Reporting
    • Organize and manage a team
  • Behavioral skills
    • Good communication and training skills
    • High level of passion & energy that inspires in others --> Encouraging and motivating skills
    • Excellent strategic mind
    • Proven leadership skills and excellent managerial behavior
  • Profile of Store Manager in retail or BD Director in FMCG field will be most suitable with this position.
