Job Description

Our client is a multinational company in chemical industry.

Compliance Operations:
  • Coordinate inspection of the company and contract facilities, and develops procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate all presentations, inquires and responses involving state regulatory and legislative groups.
  • Liaise with government to ensure regulatory compliances.
  • Has ultimate accountability for the function and provides the highest level of advice, recommendations on company regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure the company’s regulation affairs activities are conducted accurately.
  • Assure all audits to ensure that company and government standards on products/ processes are met.
  • Frequently update relevant regulations, laws, and standards.
Company Licence:
  • Manage company Licences, product registrations and HS code clarifications to ensure regulatory compliances and support internal parties
  • Manage company licenses if any renewal
  • Oversee the most difficult, complex, or large application processes so that the company submit a full and accurate application that is likely to be successful
  • Liaise with functional and sales managers to understand their short to medium-term business objectives (for example introducing a new product, service or operating process or entering a new market) and develop plans, cost estimates and schedules for acquiring the necessary permits and other approvals.
Management of Product Registrations
  • Apply new licenses in compliance with import & export regulation and renewal continued old expired licenses including all variations
  • Provide consulting, coordinate with relevant internal parties (Sales team, Supply Chain Dept., Finance & Accounting Dept.) and Customs authority for HS code and import duty clarification
  • Prepare and review relevant government reports and submit timely
  • Manage the document database
  • Provide update information, consulting for any regulatory issues
Legal compliance
  • Provide update information, consulting for any regulatory issues
  • Prepare and review relevant reports, business contract
  • Monitor company business activities relating regulatory compliance

Job Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Pharmaceutical, Chemical Science or related disciplines
  • Minimum 10-year experience in Regulatory Affairs in some or all of following fields: Pharmaceutical, Food, Feed, Specialty Chemicals
  • Minimum 3 years of managerial experience
  • Has positive mind and in an excellent communicated
  • Possesses dynamic decision making and problem solving skills
  • Intermediate experience with Windows based applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
