Job Description

  • Reporting to the VP, Commercial North Asia in Retail Branding and Information Solutions, (RBIS) business, this Regional Sales Manager is accountable for the customer interface with Buying Offices in North Asia.
  • By leading and implementing segment based selling strategies and solutions.
  • Leading a sales team to drive program execution, this role will contribute to our ongoing leadership in the apparel marketplace. 
  • Partner with Commercial leaders in RBIS to develop and create segment based products’ and solutions’ selling strategies across Buying Offices;
  • Lead all customer facing activities in North Asia Buying Offices from strategic direction setting to elements of program management and support;
  • Play an industry thought leader role to sourcing and product development executives in Buying Offices within labels, trims and packaging product portfolio;
  • Build and manage relationship with Buying Offices, from junior to senior management level;
  • Lead a sales team to execute sales activities and maximize potential business opportunities;
  • Partner with the Factory Sales team by sharing insights and strategies of respective Retail Brand Owners within the segment to capture business opportunities and effectively serve the customers;
  • Develop and maintain a strong partnership with US strategic account management teams to ensure market insights, sourcing trends, and strategies are shared, validated and transformed into actions;
  • Leverage partnerships with Buying Offices to improve supply chain efficiency by building platforms for improved collaboration on demand and forecast visibility; 
  • Manage, motivate and coach the sales team to ensure achievement of sales targets.

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of sales experience of which 3 years+ people management experience in multinational companies;
  • Experience in apparel / footwear manufacturing, merchandising and trim accessory supply is preferred; 
  • Strong analytical thinking; 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrated success in leading team to achieve business targets; 
  • Excellent customer needs assessment, solution selling and expert negotiation skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a complex matrixed organization, with demonstrated success in cross-regional / functional initiatives;
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin.
