Job Description

  •  Recruiting and staffing logistics
  • Create detailed job descriptions and qualification/competencies needed for each job position requirement
  • Mining resumes using external databases to source candidates
  • Reviews all applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the company to the candidates
  • Proactively conduct research and investigate new ideas to find passive candidates through a variety of methods including: complex internet searches, social and professional networking groups, blogs, diversity resources, competitor research and the development of existing candidate relationships
  • Participate in the ongoing development of creative recruitment sourcing strategies for open positions
  • Direct source candidates using cold calling and persuasive techniques
  • Develop an ongoing and diverse pipeline of prospective candidates for assigned points
  • Perform reference and background checks on applicants
  • Support hiring managers in identifying interview criteria and competencies
  • Assist the managers/supervisors during the interview process to ensure interviews are conducted efficiently and professionally
  • Conducts regular follow up session with managers to determine effectiveness of the recruitment and hiring process
  • Ensure each candidate has an exceptional experience from first touch point through first day of hire
  • Responsible for New Employee Orientation
  • Contract administration and employee on-boarding
  • Maintain the recruiting blog
  • Coordinate recruitment mixers and facilitate in all company events related to recruiting
  • Supervise the development of the recruiting team

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a professional environment
  • Responsive to deadlines, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • May handle special projects and execute research and data analysis tasks
  • Analyzes moderately complex problems, determines approach, compiles and analyzes data and prepares reports and recommendations
  • Consistent and timely attendance is required. Must be able to work Monday - Friday from 8am-5pm
  • Excellent communication skills Ė both written and oral
  • Bachelorís degree or equivalent experience is preferred
