Job Description

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
  • Drive methodology for Product-Sales process to regions and branch Network to support Market Facing staff in revenue and customer portfolio growth.
  • Responsible for reviewing and re-energizing the sales and service framework to bring Cohen Brown (CBA Group) sales and service leadership into BAU (business as usual).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance: Manage stream costs in line with budget
Business Operations:
  • Increase successful referrals, cross-sales and new sales
  • Ensuring the actions from the sales and service diagnostic are implemented;
  • Designing Sales initiatives and providing the sales coaching to market facing staffs;
  • Creating clear expectations through reviewing the key JDs, incentives and focus areas for branch staff, together with regional and branch structure;
  • Creating capable people through reviewing HR and sales and service training and incorporating model branches;
  • Creating motivated people through implementing daily MIS, tracking, and refresh rewards and recognition program.
  • People development: Increase the capability of our people leaders and front-line staff in sales and service actions. Increase staff engagement
  • Risk management: assure that sales behavior of staff is 100% ethical
Customer Services:
  • Internal Customer service: Maintain effective relationship between Branch network, direct sales unit and other internal departments to achieve objectives
  • Increase service levels of Tellers and Relationship managers
  • External Customer service: N/A
People Managing
  • Mentor and Coach the Sales & Service Stream team;
  • Cross train staff & eliminate all single person dependences within the team;
  • Recruit & coach new staff to raise the level of capabilities in all areas within the team.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS
INTERNAL:
  • Head Network Transformation: Direct report. Understand vision of program and provide support
  • Team Leader of Network Transformation: to work collaboratively to implement the Network Transformation programs
  • Regional and branch managers: to engage them on the refreshed approach
  • Sales Support Head: to lead, educate and engage them on the refreshed
  • HR-RB/HR C&B: to develop and manage incentives, KPIs and JDs

Job Requirements

Qualification & Experience
  • Graduated from business degree from reputable university
  • Experienced sales and service manager or branch manager (at least 3 years)
  • A Human Resource background would be beneficial
Knowledge & Skills
  • Knowledgeable in Cohen Brown or other well-known sales training as ESL (Extraordinary Sales Leadership), PSC, PRB (Professional Relationship Banking)
  • Understand the Bank strategic objectives, retail business model, and local retail market landscape
  • Deeply understand the sales skills and Retail banking products
  • Master in strategy of short term incentive for sales improvement
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong influencing and group presentation skills
Language
  • Fluency in English (4 skills: Listening; Speaking; Reading; Writing)
