Job Description

  • A degree in medicine with heavy emphasis on further Health Sector study such as project management, planning, monitoring and evaluation techniques,
  • Good analytical skills, training skills and training material development.
  • Advanced level of spoken and written English, and high level of ability to translate/interpret to and from English and Khmer.
  • At least several years working for international organizations in the development of training materials. Experience in teaching and conducting training Programmes or other educational Programmes with adult learners, preferably in the Health area.
  • Strong knowledge and experiences in health education.
  • An ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Word processing and use of a variety of computing packages e.g. Excel, Claris Works, Spreadsheets etc. would be an advantage.

Job Requirements

  • Program Management
  • Oversee the planning, implementation and evaluation of the programs and activities
  • Ensure that all program activities contribute to the organizationís mission and vision
  • Monitor the progress of all planned activities and provide technical support and management support to project field staff
  • Is responsible for reporting monthly, quarterly, semester and annually of project activities as well as the planned indicators etc.
  • Staff Management
  • Determine staffing (peer support group) requirements for program management and program delivery
  • Implement a performance management process for all project staff which include monitoring the performance of project staff on an on-going basis and conducting an annual performance review etc.
  • Financial Management
  • Ensure the staff (peer) complies with financial policies
  • Conduct negotiation of training components of income generation contracts etc.
  • Leadership:
  • Represents CHEC at community activities to enhance the organizationís profile
  • Develop an organizational plan which incorporates goals and objectives that work towards the strategic directions of the organization
