Job Description

The individual will lead the Guest Experience team (including Guest Experience Assistant Managers and Guest Experience Hosts) to oversee the daily operation of the attraction, enhance smooth and efficiency operation to achieve the service quality through effective leadership skills. You will be responsible for ensuring the attraction is operating in line with the Companyís requirements and devise guidelines & procedures. Formulate, monitor and update the processes for delivering highest possible standards of presentation, customer service, entertainment and safety. Perform the duties and responsibilities of Duty Manager when necessary and be responsible for all areas of admission numbers, secondary spend, achieving or exceeding budgeted levels of revenue and net profit through best practice, effective stock control, visual merchandising and innovative ideas.

Operational Management

  • Act as Duty Manager on a roster basis covering a 7 days operation, responsible for daily operations including briefings, admission numbers, secondary spend, photography services, souvenir shop and wax hand

  • Develop and deliver the best practice standards for the operation of admissions process, customer arrivals, security and asset protection and the management of attraction areas

  • Ensure the delivery of excellent customer services and standards are maintained throughout all areas of the attraction, care and protection of wax figures, and making notice of faults to the Studio team

  • To ensure that the customersí needs are attended at all times, for example, answering all the customer enquiries over the phone and / or in person; gathering feedbacks by inviting customers to fill out the survey forms, etc

  • Promote and validate secure cash handling practices as well as ensure the secure management of all other payment methods

  • Maintain regular audit checks on daily revenues and safe holdings. Apply knowledge of retail and admissions point of sale system to follow up discrepancies and possible fraud issues

  • Manage resources and stocks for ticket counters, souvenir shop and photography counter in accordance with guidelines and agreed targets

  • Input and update the retail pricing and promotional discounts in the system in accordance with authorized requests

  • Lead and / or participate in meetings / projects in association with operational functions

  • Work with other departments to facilitate the delivery of high quality services such as working with the group sales team to make arrangements for all group arrivals; providing assistances for corporate functions or special events as and when necessary


People Management

  • Manage the efficient performance of Assistant Manager - Guest Experience and Guest Experience Hosts

  • Maintain the sufficient level of staff at all times

  • Leading the Capture Operation and motivate them to achieve the set targets by enhancing their up-selling skills, sharing experiences and ideas, etc

  • To set up and implement operational / procedural manuals, training packages and all other associated documentations in order to improve both operating control and efficiency

  • Conduct and facilitate training /coaching activities when necessary, for example, customer services, selling techniques, product knowledge, cash handling, etc

  • Promote an enthusiastic and strong team spirit and maintain morale

  • Manage the response and initiate appropriate remedial action to customer complaints. Ensure proper and timely follow up on customer issues and maintaining records of customer complaints

  • Manage the administration duties such as preparing roster, uniform, etc and verifying all staff records for overtime, tardiness, sickness, etc

  • Foster effective working relationships with other departments, suppliers, regulatory authorities and all other external parties


Work Safe Management

  • To work with the Technical Manager, ensure that compliance and adherence to all health and safety regulations. Ensure that all operational staffs have a full understanding of emergency procedures including the security and evacuation of the premises, the administration of first aid etc


Health & Safety

  • You are responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety & Security within your team, in line with the Group Policy.In particular, you must ensure that risk assessments have been carried out, that safe working procedures are in place for all work activities and that all employees in your teams are aware of the Group Health, Safety and Security Policy and their obligations under it. You must ensure that safe working practices are monitored and that risk assessments and procedures are reviewed regularly. Where incidents do occur, you must ensure that they are investigated appropriately and that where necessary, corrective action is taken to ensure that such incidents are not repeated.
