This position, will be responsible for managing projects for the construction of high voltage substations. This includes management of all technical and commercial matters including establishing new project teams, setting budgets and schedules, financial performance and client relations within the company’s rules & regulations, ethics and principles.
While ensuring safety as a priority, the PM is responsible for the execution of projects in respect of the contracts, providing works of the specified quality within agreed schedules and budgetary limits set at tender stage.
This position is initially based in Vientiane, Laos with travel to sites. Following successful projects completion there are opportunities for career development elsewhere in the region.
Educational background is in electrical engineering (Power system).
Around 3 years of relevant experience in similar project management (construction of high voltage substations).
Computer literacy and especially MS Offices, MS Project and Graphics/Drawing software (AutoCad, Visio…)
Excellent writing skills and good conversational ability in English Communication.
Being able to travel for business any time (would be mobile between 2 substations – Pakse & Attapeu - and maybe travel to Vientiane as well).
Educational background is in electrical engineering (Power system) at master degree level.
Preferably have good academic or experimental knowledge of project management.
Lao national candidate is preferable but also accept candidates from regional countries (Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Cambodia…)
Willing to relocate within the region.
