Job Description

Our client is one of the leading hospitality & leisure groups in the region operating superbly designed facilities in Macau and with ambitious expansion plans in Asia. Due to this growth, they have created a new role in their Human Resources team and are inviting an industry expert to join, to lead and to thrive with them in their Hong Kong corporate headquarters.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the implementation of human resource strategies, initiatives and programs into the daily operations of the departments covering such areas as performance management, reward and recognition, diversity management and other areas which compliment departmental business objectives
  • Oversee and actively participate in the recruitment, selection and training of appropriate staff to meet the requirements of the departments
  • Provide career advice and counselling to staff, as required
  • Provide advice to departments' management and staff regarding employee relations issues to assist in the achievement of effective outcomes
  • Review and monitor Human Resources K.P.I.'s (e.g. employee absenteeism and turnover, annual leave accruals, etc.) for the departments and initiate appropriate action in relation to K.P.I. trends 

Job Requirements

  • Strong HR technical/operational experience
  • Experienced in serving and communicating with Senior/ Top Executives
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to work in a Multicultural environment
  • Good understanding of Hong Kong and Macau Labour Law and human resources functions
  • International experience and Education (Desirable)
  • Outspoken, High I.Q. and E.Q.
  • Strong Presence, opinionated and able to portray an image of self-confidence and authority, remaining at the same time as an approachable and trustworthy figure and point of contact for the top executives working at the corporate Headquarters 
  • Fluency in English & Chinese
  • At least 8 years Human Resources experience at managerial level
  • Proven work experience with Fortune 500 MNC, with regional exposure (preferred)
  • Tertiary qualifications (Human Resources, Social Sciences or a related discipline)
