Job Description

Order processing function

  1. Timely process the orders received acc. to SOP and to ensure that the term & condition are in line with company policy/target.
  2. To develop continuously the sub-venders for production activities and assembly activities.
  3. To provide Controlling Department with sales forecast information and to achieve overall actual margin to be in-line with the company’s margin.
  4. Engineering design and implementing function for ordered projects for pumps and valves.
  5. Necessary consumable production materials procurement and cost controls.
  6. To use SAP B1 as a tool for order processing activities in accordance with the company policy.
  7. Improve quality of order processing continuously to help sales team improve customers satisfaction and maintain customers’ loyalty and reduce customer complaints.
  8. To liaise with all manufacturing units within the group to improve communication and obtain a max. support in working out satisfactory quality and improve delivery time.

Workshop operations function

  1. Responsible for factory daily operations incl. Admin., Safety, Social activities, Communications with government authorities.
  2. Warehouse / Inventory management and Logistic coordination.
  3. Implement and maintain the Quality controls system
  4. Regular maintenance for Production facilities, tools.
  5. Maintain and responsible for up-date the current operation policies in factory: incl. Quality control, Safety, Fire response, Hygiene.

Service back-up function

  1. Timely execution of repairing of pumps from creation of shop orders to final testing and handing over to warehouse for dispatch.
  2. Ensure compliance with standard Work Instructions for inspection & repair of pumps and valves.
  3. To handle a customer complaints/service requests acc. to Service policy and standard SOP, depute the requisite personnel to customer site & coordinate the activity.
  4. Continuously develop the service capabilities and competences in order to support the aftermarket business development.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering & Business Administration.
  • Min 10 years in relevant industry and min 5 years in pumps & valves industry with good knowledge of products.
  • Communication and presentation skills – Written & Spoken English
  • Develop rapport with companies / customers / consultants
  • Good computer / SAP skill
  • Understanding of commercial issues.
  • Good Product and application knowledge & negotiation skills with customer / supplier
  • Ability to motivate subordinates with support with their work related issues.
  • Good management skills and high sense of responsibility.
