Job Description

General Management

  • Provide overall leadership and strategic business direction for the growth of the brand in Vietnam

  • Be responsible for day to day management of the business operations

  • Ensure that the brand delivers on set budgets and strategic plans

  • Identify and capitalize on business development Opportunities

  • Prepare, promote and implement strategic plans that allows the business to grow significantly both in sales and profits

  • Pushing organic growth derived from existing and new stores

  • Explore new product or new segments for both existing and new ranges of products

  • Further improve the existing business operations in Vietnam & international market

  • Understand market intelligence and competitor activities


Financial Control

  • Together with the Financial Controller, develop and implement proper controls and procedures to safeguard the assets of the business, and ensure the continued financial viability of the business

  • Develop appropriate annual budgets and long range plans that fit into the overall strategy of Vietnam and work to implement actions to achieve such targets


Organizational Development

  • Appoint or train qualified direct reports and ensure that all levels of the organization are staffed appropriately

  • Direct relevant development programs to enhance staff capabilities

  • Lead and motivate the team

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree; preferably in business, hospitality management

  • Solid knowledge / experience of the Vietnam market in terms of trends and norms

  • 10 to 15 years of general management experience with full P&L responsibilities

  • Experience in creating and executing on a growth strategy.

  • Experience leading a multi-functional team, including resources such as finance, human resources and business development across geographies is a key asset; the ideal candidate should bring the credibility to lead a team, including experienced managers, in achieving operational excellence and delivering on the customer service experience.

  • Experience in the food service, and/or hospitality industries, or other multi-site regional operation environments.

  • Experience in running food & beverages chain operations is highly preferred

  • Multi-national, emerging market experience a strong asset


Knowledge of:

  • Business operations in Vietnam context

  • F&B, specialty retail, multi-unit operations


Skills (Ability to):

  • Excellent business acumen at strategic and tactical levels

  • Drive results through the efforts of others

  • Proven leadership and visionary capabilities to provide strategic directions to the team and advice to the management

  • Planning and organizational project management skills

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written

  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Proficiency in both English and Vietnamese
