Converts (in agreement with the MD) the targets and strategies specified by the management of the GBU into a coordinated sales plan with specific short, medium and long-term targets.
He/she assures new product innovations and services are communicated to customers and he/she is in contact with customers regularly to assure to meet customer`s needs and demands.
He/she defines a business model differentiated from the competition, in line with the objectives of the GBUs and in agreement with the MD, for the "recent" business areas of Device Connectivity and Automation IT to bring both business areas onto a par (profit orientation, revenues, margin and reputation) with existing business (Installation Technology) in the medium term, providing the basis for profitable and above-average growth of market share.
Defines sales channel strategies and is responsible that individual channels and accounts are solicited, maintained and developed. Channels include current (OEM/CEM) accounts, distributors, system-integrators (and Value-Added Resellers) and end-users.
In coordination with the MD, he/she develops a marketing mix adapted to the local market situation in agreement with the international marketing departments.
Constantly maintains contact with the market and technology providers.
Actively communicates future-oriented product innovations and services as clear customer benefits.
He/she is responsible for ensuring appropriate qualifications for achieving sales targets including for himself/herself.
Works on price elaborations, ensures price margins, is in charge of important customers.Is the lead salesperson and succeeds in winning key customers in all defined sectors.
Engineering degree – electrical, electronics, mechanical OR practical sales experience in Engineering markets
Experience in Industrial (B2B) markets – preferable as supplier of components (Ethernet, Sensors, Connectors, Cables, Motors etc.)
Experience in at least one of the markets Machinery, Automation, Rail and Energy
Understand industrial applications, processes, regulations etc.
Experience and understanding of working for foreign company
Selling based on features and technical advantages
Willing to operate in a “1-man” start-up environment and motivated to further grow and develop the local HA entity
