The ideal candidate should be highly focused on media strategy and always looking for innovative ways to understand user behavior and target that behavior across both traditional and digital channels.
The Media Planning Director will report directly to the regional Marketing Communication head and will be part of the regional leadership team and will be expected to participate across all planning activities in the region.
Bachelorís degree or equivalent
10-12 years of experience in regional media strategy/planning, 6+ years management experience, advertising/media agency experience preferred
Thorough knowledge of principles of marketing and advertising, media dynamics and concepts
Proven skills in traditional/offline and online planning (across TV, print, digital); working knowledge of digital is a must
Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills, ability to formulate insights-driven solutions
Ability to quickly gain knowledge and understanding the business landscape and goals
Ability to work well in a collaborative entrepreneurial environment, building credibility and trust with internal teams
Ability to write clearly and concisely and present with ease and effectiveness
Frequent travel in APAC region is required
