Job Description

Overall Responsibilities
Manage overall development & execution of AGM Marketing strategic plan to reach revenues & profitability objectives. Building a highly effective marketing team and creating a stimulating learning and team working environment. Ensuring an optimum level of marketing process and controls to improve business efficiencies and visibility of performance.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Recommendation of Strategic Annual Marketing plan and budget , implementation of all actions, follow up of actions & expenses and final reports
  • Animate Marketing staff :
    • Human resource : Recruitment, Training, Timesheet & salary, Objectives and performance review, Evolution
    • Operational tasks : Animation of brainstorming, To do lists and follow up of actions from recommendation to final results.
  • Design all marketing plans by brands and categories, including launch of new brands & products and food education campaigns
  • Create and implement promotional campaigns & events (in-store and out-store) to increase brand awareness, traffic, revenues and customers base loyalty (general monthly marketing campaigns + launching of new products, punctual promotions + near expiry items promotions + high stock products clearance promotions) :
    • Main strategy, item selection , deal with suppliers, government agreement, stock allocation & follow up, brief to store (meeting/weekly brief), set up in AX system + set up of campaign in store, audit, follow up, sales report
    • Copywriting, Translation in English and Vietnamese of all Mkt tools and coordination with designer + offline media manager + digital Mkt manager for : store atmosphere (window display, decoration, promotion tables and corners, POSM, uniforms, music) and for communication (offline and online)
  • Work in relation with purchasing team, local and foreign suppliers for
    • Ordering the right quantities of products to reach our target per campaign and promotion
    • Sourcing new permanent items to improve our assortment
    • Sourcing new temporary items by campaign
  • Work in relation with Operation & Training Team to contribute to manage the item classification database : Item codification creation and update (price, typology, assortment…)
  • Manage stores visual merchandising: provide to sales team, merchandising tools to refer in order to keep as regular the same visual & merchandising in all our shops.
    • Signage, information boards, label shelves, display, promotion tables…
    • Optimization of stores universes: deli display, tea corner, non food, wine & beverage, dry and sweet, F&V, bakery…
    • Assortment and plannogram (Merch Plan)
    • POSM
    • Ensure implementation of guidelines in-store
    • Provide some monitoring tools to control & measure profitability & the in-store visual efficiency. (checklist, monthly visual evaluation/audit form etc...)
  • General support for stores :
    • Briefing about all actions in store and work with stores staff for a good implementation and follow up : promotions brief template, guidelines, AGMag, catalog of POSM and tools available
    • Help in designing to appropriate marketing tools for each store to reach their target
    • Prepare all introduction tools for new products with the help of OP Team : presentation of product, training/tasting/recipes, ICR, merchandising planogram, implementation brief, POSM…
    • Help in merchandising (check point 7)
    • Help in managing customer service (check point 9
  • Monitor and improve customer service :
    • Clients / Prospects / Partners databases : management, optimization, data mining
    • Loyalty program : Optimization (policy/benefits/communication), Management (cards creation, customer upgrade, Gold card issue, Bday reminder), pushing strategy to get more loyal customers including incentives for stores staff, organization of events for loyal customers, Reports. Work in relation with OP team for training of stores staff about loyalty program.
    • Customers Satisfaction : Comments Customer Service Email, Comment box in store, online comments, Satisfaction survey (twice a year), Mystery shoppers
    • Price and discount policy : Follow up, set up on AX, Control procedure…
    • Responsible for voucher emission and sales : process, production, follow up, inventory management, sales by store, gift vouchers (Bday / customers gesture / media payment)
    • Additional services : delivery, lounge menu, menu of the day, delivery menu, online food delivery, catering menu, cakebook, Recipes (folder/standee), gift service…
  • Manage all brand image & media initiatives :
    • In-store communication:
      • Packaging by department : bakery, traditional, take away, catering…
      • Permanent and festive bags
      • Private label : general strategy, product selection, packaging selection, design of labels, production, launching, follow up and reports
      • Catalogs & leaflets : gift catalogs, service leaflets…
      • Musical ambiance : general play lists and playlists by events
      • Uniforms
      • Tableware…
    • Out-store Offline communication :
      • Media plan and PR,
      • Direct marketing,
      • Sponsorship,
    • Out-store Online communication :
      • Website : optimization, follow up, web mastering. Ecommerce feasibility.
      • Newsletters : optimization, calendar, management
      • Social media : Social Networks + forums (Facebook, Linkedin, Google, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube, Foursquare, Trip Advisor, Web Tre Tho…..)
      • App : create an AGM App
      • Digital direct marketing : Text messages / Viber messages…
      • SEO : optimize presence on the web
      • Banners Exchange and purchase
      • Traffic reports
  • Manage design and production of all materials of AGM :
    • AGM Branding project launching and follow up : from brief to agency to delivery of AGM book with all visual guidelines
    • Design of all materials : brainstorming with MKt team, brief, proposals of POSM, wobblers, stickers, posters, Window visuals, Signage, Leaflet, stationary, Catalogs, Artwork, bags, packaging, labels, newsletters, digital visuals, uniforms…consistent with AGM graphic guidelines
    • Work in collaboration with photograph and video film maker to get records of events and campaigns + product or ambient pictures shooting
    • Work with Printing Agencies for all production : from quotation to delivery and payment. Responsible for the quality of production and for all paperwork.
    • Keep track of all work.
  • Strategic analysis :
    • Geomarketing : catchment area analysis / store
  • New stores / New Concept  opening :
    • Support for the layout design
    • Advise in sourcing of furniture, signage, display, materials to be consistent with the general concept
    • General merchandising
    • Communication plan for the opening
  • Monitor and sales report on all marketing initiatives + Follow up of Marketing expenses and budget

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Marketing / Business Management qualification preferred

  • Minimum 5 years in senior marketing roles in an fmcg company
