Job Description

Job Purpose

Increase the market share through the design and implementation of an aggressive marketing plan based on thorough analysis and evaluation of the local market.

Responsibilities

  • To research analyze and evaluate the competitive market environment

  • Monitor threats and opportunities and amend actions where necessary, to ensure brand/Sales/Retail development

  • To research – analyze all marketing activities of the business (sales – product mix – customer profile –demographic etc.) – campaign and propose effective ideas on :

  • Product positioning

  • Chain Positioning / channel of distribution

  • Merchandise Point of Purchasing (POP)/Point of Sale (POS)

  • Local Store Marketing (LSM) Programs / trade marketing for channels

  • Sales & Service training

  • Develops, manages and implements creative, effective and successful annual marketing plans for all channels of distribution including dealers, wholesalers, own stores along with the chain marketing strategy and annual market plan and budget

  • Marketing plans should include – Advertising, Communication, Sales Promotion, Public Relations, Product Development, Pricing & Distribution

  • Keep effective control of budgets

  • Supervises the monitoring of all advertising campaigns, news related to competitor to keep abreast of any developments to act accordingly

  • Inspects, reports, and ensures in co-ordination with Property Department that the company’s image is maintained at high standard

  • Comply with Company’s policy and procedures

  • Maintain close liaison with all departments on activities and seek any advise if required

Job Requirements


  • Male / Female, over 38 years old.

  • Bachelors in Marketing, Business Administration, or other business degrees with MBA.

  • Minimum 10 years in mobile phone, IT and Consumer electronic business environment

  • Having direct experiences in managing marketing departments in product & services, promotion, communication and training, brand management, trade marketing, in store program (Retail store marketing) and development areas.

  • Experiences in Business Development from business plan to channel distribution of new business.

  • Strong in analyzing, planning and execution to drive for the results of sales performance and market shares.

  • Excellent in verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent in interpersonal skills and ability to manage teams from different cultures and coach for the achievement.

  • Possess Creative, Positive thinking, Logical mind

  • Highly resulted oriented with hand on and down to earth working style is highly required.
