Job Description

Join this large international specialist CRM agency as a Regional Merchant Partnership Director to lead a strong team and oversee company wide merchant partnership projects.
**Less senior candidates will be considered Manager/Assistant Manager level
 
  • Reporting directly to the company’s regional Managing Director, you will lead a strong team of 10+
  • Manage, mentor and develop team members
  • Working very closely with internal teams (account servicing, marketing communications, etc.) and external merchant partners to ensure smooth operations of existing merchant partnership projects, maintain or enhance profitability and on-time delivery
  • Project Manage overall partnership campaigns, from concept generation, logistics arrangement, internal briefing and presentation to final delivery and post-campaign evaluation
  • Staying updated to the market trend.  Identify, initiate and facilitate cooperation opportunities with existing and new merchant partners
  • Negotiate and implement terms of cooperation with potential merchant partners
  • With the help from other teams, conduct performance analysis and come up with improvement suggestions and procedures
  • Come up with and suggest ways to enhance overall loyalty programs’ user experience
  • Responsible for any ah hoc projects

Job Requirements

  • Got a Degree in Marketing of Business related subjects
  • At least 12 years relevant working experience in marketing with am emphasis in loyalty marketing
  • Hands-on working knowledge on merchant partnership marketing, from a consumer banking, credit card, and/or travel related sector highly preferred
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in team management and development, ideally with proven experience in managing a team of no less than 10
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior management staffs internally and externally
  • Good writing and presentation skills, excellent in preparing Excel and PowerPoint presentations
  • Great presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to transform technical information into easy to understand principles for other internal team members, external vendors and clients
  • Excellent English and Mandarin, native Cantonese
